Who is Bryan Orr?

Bryan Orr is the co-owner of Kalos Services Inc, an Orlando-area HVAC
contracting business as well as an audio nerd and podcaster (host of
the HVAC School Podcast). Bryan is the father of 10 kids and husband of
a Jedi princess. In his spare time, Bryan doesn’t have spare time.

Hi! I’m Bryan! Thanks for visiting my website. I’m not sure why you are here exactly, but I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me and how I may be able to assist you. I’ve worked my entire life doing stuff in and around the construction trades while growing up with the evolution of computing and social media. I’ve always enjoyed connecting with people over a good, nerdy technical discussion all the way back to when I was a kid.

Today, I’m really excited about the advancement of the skilled trades and the opportunities for personal and professional growth it can bring to people’s lives. I enjoy working with excellent companies with a similar vision.

THE EARLY DAYS

  • Grew up working with Animals because of my Mom
  • Worked in and on Aircraft at a young age because of my Grandpa
  • Talked about electrical theory with my Dad at the kitchen table
  • Worked as an electrical apprentice with my uncle at 15
  • Loved making audio recordings since I was 6
  • Graduated High School at 16 and went into trade school
  • HVAC Tech at 18
  • Training manager at 20
  • Business owner at 23

I care a lot about the things I care about, and I skim read everything else.

I thought I cared about marketing. Then, I learned that I cared a lot more about connecting to people through story and experience than I did about getting them to buy things by using clickbait and banner ads.

I started podcasting, making videos, writing, and speaking on the things we collectively learned in our trade, and I was really hooked. I have now produced over 500 podcasts and independent audio stories, and I’ve learned something. There is a better way to make connections with people. Do you want to know what it is? You already know, you just need practice and insights.

Present & Future

As Bryan’s business Kalos Services grew he chose to invest
his time in teaching others for free online at
HVACRSchool.com and in person. This has led to
opportunities to influence industry change.
